"Geothermal systems are limited only by the imagination."

How Geothermal Works

Geothermal energy is, quite simply, heat from the ground. The earth absorbs and stores 46% of the sun´s energy, providing us with an accessible place to capture it – the ground surrounding your home. Geothermal systems transfer heat from the ground into your home in the cooler months and from your home to the ground in warmer months. Since moving heat is much more economical than making it, less energy is consumed and your heating and cooling bills are a fraction of the cost of conventional systems.

Geothermal Advantages

Money in Your Pocket: The EPA (Environmental Protection Association) recognizes geothermal systems as the most energy efficient heating and cooling systems available. Savings are produced by tapping into the free energy naturally stored in the earth.

Earth Friendly: Geothermal systems actually have a positive impact on our environment since they burn no fossil fuels and use very little electricity. This helps control pollution and green house emissions.

Warm Feet: The in-floor radiant heat option with the water-to-water unit allows for the luxury of heated floors. Warmth rises from the floor, increasing the comfort of your living area in cooler months. Imagine a bathroom floor that´s not cold to the touch!

Unsurpassed Comfort: Geothermal systems do a better job of dehumidification and air purification than conventional systems. In addition, GeoComfort systems provide more consistent air temperatures throughout the house, eliminating hot and cold spots. Zoning is an option which allows you to maintain different temperatures in different areas of your home.

Safe and Secure: As opposed to conventional systems, geothermal systems have no fossil fuel and no opportunity for explosions or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Water to Water Advantages

Radiant Heat: In-floor radiant heating systems circulate warm water through a series of pipes embedded in the floor. The floor acts as a giant radiator distributing heat evenly, eliminating hot and cold spots. It´s the perfect solution when you love the look of ceramic tile or hardwood floors, but hate the cold sensation that generally comes along with them.

Fan Coil System: Fan coil systems run hot or cold water through a coil in an air handler. This supplies conditioned air to your home in any temperature that you choose as well as dehumidifies the air for additional comfort.

Domestic Water Heating: GeoComfort water-to-water systems can be designed to also generate an abundant supply of hot water. This is done at a significantly higher efficiency than ordinary methods, which allows you to keep more money in your pocket.

Snow and Ice Melt: Water-to-water systems can help keep your sidewalks, driveways and patios fee of ice and snow. This option uses the same principles as radiant heat. It runs warm water through a series of pipes embedded in the walkway, keeping the concrete slabs warm.

Forced Air Systems

We pride ourselves in the quite and efficient systems we have installed. You cannot install a Geothermal system with the same mentality as installing a conventional furnace. Many things need to be considered to provide a quite and efficient Geothermal heat pump system.

Vibration isolation and internal sound lines are only a few things we provide standard that set our systems apart from other HVAC contractors.

Geothermal Combination Forced Air/Hydronic Heat Pumps

The dual feature of this heat pump has all the capabilities of a standard forced air geothermal heat pump by supplying heating and evaporative cooling to an air stream. In addition, this can create hot water for any number of hydronic heating applications. Units are available from 3 to 6 tons, which can effectively handle 100% of the heating and cooling needs of your residence or business.
